Girls' Basketball prepares for Sectionals

The Heritage Hills Girls' Basketball team (17-5) are preparing for sectionals which begin tomorrow (Tuesday, January 29th) at Gibson Southern High School but Heritage Hills' first matchup is on Friday, February 1st at 6:00 PM CST. The lady Patriots will play the winner of the Gibson Southern (20-3)/Evansville Bosse (7-12) game for the sectional semifinals. The Evansville Bosse versus Gibson Southern game will be tomorrow at 6:00 PM CST. Following that game at 7:30 PM CST, Mt. Vernon (12-10) will face Boonville (8-13). Evansville Memorial (13-8) will then face the winner of that game, following the Heritage Hills game. The sectional championship will be on Saturday, February 2nd at 7:00 PM CST.

Sophomore forward Rebekah Gordon leads the team in both in points per game (16.5) and rebounds per game (8.3). Freshman guard Hadley Lytton leads the team with assist (2.6) and steals per game (3.8).
